Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I went snowboarding in these pants. The pockets are velcro which makes it tough to put anything in them without running the risk of it falling out. In the spring they're great because they're lightweight and breath well. However, in the winter I couldn't wear enough layers to keep me warm.
